How Teachers Set Up Their Classrooms with Canvas

This article guides teachers through setting up their classrooms in Canvas.

First, in Cavas:

  1. CodeMonkey will appear at the bottom of each teacher’s Canvas classroom.

  2. Ensure the course status is Published on Canvas before proceeding.

  3. Click the CodeMonkey link → Open in a New Tab.

  4. Authorize CodeMonkey to access Canvas.
    ​

    Then, in the CodeMonkey dashboard:

    • From the Admin dashboard, click Sync with Canvas


      Now, navigate to the My Classrooms section and begin assigning courses.
