To change a student’s display name, username or password:

  1. Go to the classroom the student is in, then click on the ‘Students’ tab - this will take you to the student list.

  2. Change student display name: Locate the student’s display name in the table and click on the edit button next to it (pencil icon). A text field will appear: edit the name and ‘save’.

  3. Change student username: Locate the student’s username in the table and click on edit button next to it (pencil icon). A text field will appear: edit the name and ‘save’.

  4. Change student password: Locate the student’s name in the table and click on ‘Reset password’ under the ‘Password’ column. In the text field, write the new password (at least 6 characters long) and click on ‘save’.

Please note: For students who logged into CodeMonkey using Single-Sign On, you will not be able to reset their passwords or edit their usernames. A message will appear in the password column saying that the student logged in using a SSO.

Deleting, resetting or transferring student accounts once they have been used is not possible.
