This article will cover instructions for students on joining their CodeMonkey classrooms using a class code. The first part is for students who have yet to create a CodeMonkey account. Scroll down to access the instructions for students with existing CodeMonkey accounts.
Before having the students follow these steps, make sure you provide them with their classroom's code. If you are not sure where to locate the code, refer to this help article.

Students with no CodeMonkey account, should follow these steps in order to:
Create their CodeMonkey account using their Google account.
Join their CodeMonkey Classroom using the class code.
1. Go to www.codemonkey.com and click on the SIGN UP button.
2. Click on STUDENT.
3. Click ‘Yes, I have a code’.
4. Enter the classroom code.
5. Click on the Google Single Sign-on button.
Please note:
When students have completed the instructions above, they will be automatically added to their classroom and you will be able to view them in the classroom dashboard, under the students tab.
The action of joining a classroom will be done only one time. Once the student joins the classroom, next time they login to their CodeMonkey account, they will already be in their classroom.
Students with an existing CodeMonkey account, should follow these steps in order to:
Login to their CodeMonkey account.
Join their new CodeMonkey classroom using the class code.
1. Login to their CodeMonkey account at www.codemonkey.com.
2. Click on the menu icon at the upper right corner, and choose 'JOIN A CLASSROOM'.
3. They will get a message asking them to confirm the action of moving out of their current classroom and would need to click on OK.
4. They will be asked "Do you have a classroom code?" and would need to click on "Yes, I have a classroom code".
5. They will enter the classroom code and click on the ENTER button.
6. They will get a confirmation message letting them know that they have joined the classroom (with the classroom name).
Please note:
